So I'm currently checking Voltage & routing of every wire within the truck & Documenting it. I ran across a Purple wire from one of the connectors that has be cut but IDK where it is suppose to lead too??
I know the Green wire is for the Tachometer, Red to Thermostat, White to Oil Pressure, but Purple to What??
My second Question is will a 1987 Model f150 with the v8 share the same Fan Shroud as the Pre-Generation 80-86? I can find those year models but not any 1980-1986 year shrouds.

Looks like maybe a Purple & White wire that goes to the brake system differential (proportioning) valve switch that turns on the BRAKE dash light in event of a problem.
