Electric fan controller
So I put in a dual speed electric fan from a Taurus. Powerful fan. I had picked up the relay pack from a Volvo, but decided to go with a dakota digital controller since I have the VHX guages already and it works well with them. My question is, what does everyone have their on off temps set to and does anyone have a speed shut off switch or what do they set their dakota to? I set mine at low on at 190 off at 185. High on at 200 off at 195. I have it set to shut off at 45mph but I was thinking it probably could shut off slower but not real sure. Anyone have any input on this? I've got a big champion aluminum radiator 3 core. with the correct 400 thermostat.

You should set your turn on for low at 5-10 degrees above your thermostat temp. That way you can cruise, when loads of air is rushing through the radiator, on the freeway or highway, without the fan turning on. Set the turn off 10 degrees in the other direction.
