Just felt the need to share because I am pleased with how this eventually turned out. I owned my first Superduty for all of 10 months. I previously posted the accident I was involved in back in the end January. After 3 weeks, my truck was finally totaled. FYI, it took 2 Chevy trucks, a Nissan truck and both left and right concrete barriers on the bridge to do it in. I was told that if it had been a 6.7L that they would have replaced the frame and repaired the rest of the truck. Well, after another couple of weeks, I was able to sign the papers on my second Superduty. I love it! This one is a somewhat dressed up XLT, 6.2L, FX4, some of the options are, the larger 8” screen, side spot lights, power folding mirrors, high mount 3rd brake light camera, tailgate step and most of all - it is painted that Ruby Red that I originally wanted.
Thewholetruth, I (obviously) just learned that the damages have to reach 67% of the vehicle value. While they didn’t quite get everything on the estimate, the estimate was just over $30K. That killed my $38K used truck, but wouldn’t have been enough to total if the truck had the $9K optioned 6.7L
