No the coin holder is out it is just to the right of the trailer brake controller which is the thing I want to replace. the cup holder has two screws holding it in and I took them out but the cup holder still will not come out I need the cup holder out so I can access the two screws holding the trailer brake controller in

@slivinski,
I cannot say for the 2012 but I can say that for the 2004 there are two screws that I see from the front with the cup holder pulled out, there are also two underneath that I had a hard time finding, have you looked up from the bottom, you'll probably need a good light to spot them.

2012 and 2004 are totally different. I I remember correctly, there should be two screws behind the actual cup holder. Like fold it down and two screws are right there. Take them out and then gently pull it away from the dash in a top to bottom motion.

There are 4 screws 2 that can't be seen nor felt so when you get tired of pulling down and really add torque those 2 post snap in half
