Does this radius arm look right?

To me the picture of the radius arm seems like it is to low to line up properly with the bushing hole The next picture shows why I changed them. Either the factory put this one in or the one owner PO did. 88K miles so I suspect factory.... Looks like the same thing might happen again. The cupped washer ate the bushing. I have not tightened or torqued down anything on this side yet but the wheel is on the ground. The nut behind the bracket is barely snug. I put a jack under the arm to see if it would raise up and it didn't. Seems I have a problem and if so, I don't know what it is. Nothing is damaged and never wrecked. I have not done the other side yet. Advice is welcome. Sandy

If I remember right, your truck is leveled. If so, that's just kind of how it goes, wacky geometry without drop brackets.

Yes it has a 1 1/2" level in front. The other side looks fine which is why I didn't consider the level. The picture/passenger side is somewhat different on the 2wd than the driver side. I don't remember the reason but the camber bushing on the passenger side needs more degrees than the driver side. I had to shave a little off the knuckle to get it closer to spec but it is still not quite right. I decided not to shave very much to accommodate even more camber.

Does that sound like that could be the issue? It does to me now that I put my thinking cap on. Sandy

You did what? Why would you shave down the knuckle? There are different size bushings for a reason.

I had to use a 4.5 degree bushing and I shaved a little off of the inside of the knuckle. If you look at the chart on an adjustable set of camber bushings it shows 2.5 degrees is all you can use for a 2 wd. The driver side will take more than the passenger side.
