Hello everyone! Pat in upstate SC with a 2004 F250 here. I bought the truck new with the intent of towing my other 4WD trail rig around, but it has been my daily driver from the past 15 years as well. Haven't used it for towing for a good few years but still putting some miles on it. Sitting at 230K miles at the moment and is still more or less stock. EGR cooler was replaced under warranty three times (Thanks Ford Gold coolant!) so when it failed again on my dime/time, I did an EGR cooler/valve delete, oil cooler replacement and switched to a proper coolant. Also added a bypass coolant filter at that point in time and added an Edge Insight CTS to keep an eye on things.

Welcome.....go North on 26 from Asheville. Go another 50ish miles and that’s my home. Saw your smkymtns name and it got my attention.

Thanks, Sarge! I love the mountains, but I have always had a soft spot for the Smokies. I am usually out hiking, camping, or exploring the southern Appalachians every weekend. I get up your way a good bit and have a group camp out next month at Roan Mtn State Park. Beautiful area to live in you have there!
And thanks for the welcome from PA, TomFlyer. Finally made it up your way on a road trip to New England last summer, but about all that I saw of Pennsylvania was through windshield wipers set on high. ;-)
