Unexpected upshift???
Occasionally, my tranny upshifts from OD to second at highway speed, with obvious high RPM result. Pulling to roadside, tranny in park, shut off engine, then restart clears problem. Sounds like a computer or sensor problem to me, but I'm far from expert on tranny's. Any advice or similar experiences? Thanks---this is a great information source!!

Do you know what type of transmission it is? What is the make and year of your vehicle? If the trans. is the E4OD, send me an email by clicking on my "Profile" button below my reply and I'll send you a file which will include test procedures to find out if it's one of your sensors acting up. R.A.
