Complete rewire need help

So, I'm working my way through a complete Re-wire with an AAW kit. Everything is going smooth enough. The kit is pretty complete and well thought out. It's taking me a little time because I'm running everything in high friction wire loom. Well, everything except under the dash, which I could probably use split loom and do that, but it's a pain to work with. So, I'm going to try to call technical support tomorrow but just like to hedge my bets if anyone here has used one of these kits. The part I'm not figuring out, has to do with the Factory AC. The kit has a wire that goes to the blower motor, but it's kind of odd, because its really pretty long. I've figured out that I need to connect it to a black with green stripe wire in the engine compartment. However, stock has multiple wires. The AAW kit does not have the three pin connector that attaches to the back of the AC lever next to the vacuum plug. I also see the stock wire harness had a Dark green with yellow stripe wire plugged into one of the 3 pin plugs by the glove box, and it had a pig tail with a light green wire. I think that light green wire goes to the thermostat, but not sure. The dark green has like an lboy as a press on terminal, but I don't know where it goes. One other thing. The brake switch connector is for the bullet style brake switch not the one that is on booster arm brake lug. I thought this switch was more for cruise control, but I guess it could work. Although I havent got the brake lights to come on yet. Can anyone shed some light for me?

Ok. So AAW does not support AC since factory had several options. I'm going to split open the old harness and basically make an AC harness I guess. Still unsure what the dark green wire is for, so I am going to use it to power a USB charger. I looked at the brake switches.... the way they are wired, either will work.

I guess no one else has had this issue, but I'll put the info here in case anyone ever does and searches for it... So the AAW kit is not set up for factory air. It is relatively easy to do though. If your old harness was decent, you can reuse the add on piece you just need to change 2 connectors. Here is how the stock harness looks.

The AAW harness with the stock harness in place.

So you can see I split the brown wire and inserted one of the orange wires in. That powers the AC selector switch and changes your 3 speed blower fan which is how it is configured for the heater into a 4 speed blower fan for AC.

At the resistor.

You plug the Red wire with black stripe into the front terminal on the resistor. and the green wire will connect to the AC evaporator thermostat. The resistor terminal on the right has an orange wire and a black wire. The black wire runs through the fire wall and will connect to the blower motor connection. Then there are 3 other wires, one is a ground, one is the clutch wire and the other is a blue wire, that the wire diagram says goes to carb emission control solenoid. I'm really not sure what to do with that one.... probably just leave it alone. Meanwhile I am putting in an Electric fan controller and a Trinary switch for the AC all of which can interrupt the signal to the AC clutch. Hopefully, I'll figure that out, but at least this addresses the harness. Hope ya'll find it useful.
