What Oil are you using

There is a continuing debate on which is the “best” oil for our 6.7s out there. Thought I would start a little pole on what folks are using. I didn’t add a weight, some of the list above make multiple weights that meets the WSS-M2C171-F1 standard. If a company called their 5W-40 and 10W-30 something different I added the weight. If you are going to change what oil you use based on this pole I recommend you check the approved list to make sure the weight is on it - https://www.fcsdchemicalsandlubrican...ry=Motor%20Oil

I did my best trying to capture what I’ve seen folks using. If I missed what you are using, please post a reply and I’ll update post 1 adding what you use and 1 vote. The pole is limited to 10 choices. If you wish to have your "other" vote remain anonymous please shoot me a PM.

Other:
Valvoline PBE - 5
Delo 400 LE - 1
AMSOil - 1
Schaeffer Supreme 9000 - 1

I didn't include AMSOil on the original list as I couldn't find it on the Ford WSS-M2C171-F1 standard list. I know AMSOil people are pretty passionate about it. Same with Schaeffer Supreme 9000, didn't see that on the list. That's what I'm using but it's the 2017 pre Ford WSS-M2C171-F1 standard.

First vote. Motorcraft 10w30. Probably gonna be some "Other" for PBE, Amsoil, etc.

Valvoline PBE seems to be the most popular around the forum. I would bump the also-rans out of there and replace with Valvoline PBE.

I have used all three in mine. T6, PBE and Motorcraft. 5w40 Synthetic for all. So, really can't answer your poll unless I can vote 3 times.

I've been using the 15W-40 Motorcraft Synthetic Blend. For use when towing in hot climates. Seems to be doing a good job so far!

Schaeffer Supreme 9000 synthetic. It's not on Ford's list.

Voted other. Currently using Amsoil Signature Series 5w40, although have used many others including two on OP's list.

The first 30k miles was Motorcraft 10W30 or 15W40. In it now and at least the next 3 changes will be PBE 5W40..

When would you change your oil? At a certain interval or when the computer told you to?
