Am I about to order the wrong wheel? I have a 70 F250 but from what it seems I have a 71 wheel? Is the 70 not supposed to have the 2 bar wheel that came when I bought the truck? Does anywhere know where I can find the correct red wheel?
Obviously your steering column has been changed to a 71-72 unit due to the red color in a white interior, or a 73+ column if your emergency flasher switch is located on the column.

So I’m safe I’m assuming they switched it but kept it the same color as the stock interior and that I should just buy a 71 wheel? Do you know of anyone who sells the red wheel?

1971/73 wheels were available in colors, but Ford obsoleted them circa 1975, replaced them with the 1974/77 black steering wheel (D4TZ-3600-A).
At one time FTE member gangstakr had a NOSred 17" diameter 3 spoke steering wheel. I don't know if he still has it or not.
Will the splines still match up if I go back to the original 70 3 spoke wheel? And how can I get in touch with ganstakr, I’m still fairly new to the forum and don’t know much about the ins and outs of working it yet.
