Got mine special ordered truck through Koons of Baltimore too. I agree, their pricing and sales service was awesome. Highly recommend anyone to email their build and get a price.
Another one for Koons in Baltimore. My deal went amazingly well for my first new vehicle purchase. Ordered in November and came in February. No money down.
When I first ordered my truck the guy that turned me onto Koons said they are tough on trades but I have no first hand experience.
I sold my 2011 2500HD privately while I waited for 19' F350. Got about 6,000$ more than what they said they would have given me.

I’ve heard they are tough on trades. Hopefully within reason. I was planning on having more time when I ordered to sell mine but since this little surprise happened I’m pretty tight on time.
Well I am now in a huge predicament. Haven't been able to sell my truck fast enough and Koons is offering $2k less on trade than any local dealer. This puts me just outside my comfort zone on payment. He agreed to order another truck to give me more time, (he already has someone wanting to buy the one I built) but is telling me my PCO won't lock in. I know this isn't true by several members of this forum stating they have locked there's in with no problem. I hate to back out on this deal but it's not looking good at the moment.

I hope they arent just playing games because they know you have that PCO. I would find out why they claim they cant lock it in and bring up the incentive protection department, see if they will look into it.

I brought that up and he claimed that only worked for rates and incentives. He also "said" that he asked everyone else there and they all said it wouldn't lock in either. Unsure of what to do here.

Walk away. They're screwing with you. (edit: just my opinion. There'll always be another PCO/deal/etc down the road)
I gotta say that deal was probably the best I've heard posted on this group for a fresh truck (not a leftover). I was wondering if there might be a fly in the ointment somewhere.
That’s what I was thinking. I really hate walking out like that but I don’t want to financially screw myself lol thanks for the boat of confidence
ask to talk to the sales manager. Tell them you’re ready to order a truck and that you’ve agreed upon a price but you need the PCO locked in. Politely.
