Wish I had not sold my 1987 F800. It had the 7.8 ford engine, along with roadranger 10 speed. Plus air ride rear axle and 60" sleeper. Also had air ride seats, but man the cab roof was just not high enough. I hit my head way to many times.
Engine ran great, pulled well. Plus sipped fuel compared to a cummins of the same size.
Yeah it is a bit incorrect now that you point it out.It reads:
1987 - 1996 F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks 1987 - 1996 Ford F-150, F-250, F-350 and larger pickups - including the 1997 heavy-duty F250/F350+ trucks
When technically it should read:
1987 - 1996 F-150 & Larger F-Series Trucks 1987 - 1996 Ford F-150, F-250, F-350 & F-Super Duty (pre F-450) - including the 1997 heavy-duty F-250, F-350, F-450 trucks
(I prefer that one ↑ )
OR 1987 - 1996 F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks 1987 - 1997 Ford F-150, F-250, F-350 & F-Super Duty (pre-F-450) - excluding the 1997 F-150 & F-250 light duty trucks.
The section your actually looking for,for help with the trucks over F450 is here:
well, the title says pickups. not all larger trucks
i really doubt the F800 is a pickup .
Yeah but to be fair neither is the F350 cab and chassis or the medium duty,F-Super Duty (pre F-450) 'pickups',yet they belong (and of course are) part of our discussions here.
The way I worded it makes it all technically correct.
1987 - 1996 F-150 & Larger F-Series Trucks 1987 - 1996 Ford F-150, F-250, F-350 & F-Super Duty (pre F-450) - including the 1997 heavy-duty F-250, F-350, F-450 trucks
