I've been searching these forums for a problem that I just got. I had my truck leveled and now I have a few problems, 1. my steering wheel is not aligning, even after I adjusted the bar. If I take a left turn the steering wheel will be off centered to the left and if I take a right turn then the steering wheel will be straight. 2. I keep getting Advance Trac and Hill Assist and was wondering if this issue with the wheel would cause it. Thanks for any help!
I just leveled (1.5in) my truck this past weekend and had to do the exact same thing. it took me a few tries, but I got it pretty good. What I call good is that driving on the right side of the road crown, I need to slightly compensate to the left and vice versa.
After your level, did you have the caster adjusted? That could also be contributing to your situation. When I leveled, i put in 2.3 deg and 2.6 deg caster shims (L/R).

If you have adaptive steering on your truck,.............. if I recall correctly, you need to unplug the connector from the steering module prior to the lift being installed, then plug it back in when complete. Perhaps others with more experience will chime in and advise.
So I have been fighting with Ford for a year now and came across this thread. The rattle/vibration in my pedals was killing me and every time I took it to them they said they felt nothing or everything was normal. I brought this thread into them and they wouldn't replace the part because they said they couldn't replicate!
So I went and ordered this new shaft from Tasca which took 5 days but only 20 minutes to replace. Went for a long ride and wouldn't you know, IT FIXED MY PROBLEM!
