I have a 13 with a 6.7. I bought it used already has an egr, dpf, and def delete but I don’t know who did, what tune, or if the computer was just flashed. I am looking into getting a tuner to improve fuel mileage and a little power boost. I’m interested in the sct Livewire but just wanting to know if that is the route to go and if it is a mistake given I don’t know how it was deleted?
You should always get the tuner with a deleted truck is my opinion. And you should also request the deleted items egr cooler, dpf, etc. I know it is not always possible. It seems so many trucks are being sold that are deleted and the previous owner is selling the tuner online to someone else with your stock OEM tune that you would use to put the truck back stock.
Read this thread of someone recently doing something similar to what you are wanting to do. Will it happen to you? No clue.
My son has the H&S Performance Mini Maxx that was on his 2013 F-350 (full delete). His truck was totaled in the floods that hit TX and he could not get it unlocked due to the elect system was inop. There are a couple of online websites that you can have it unlocked. Just throwing this out there if interested.

Might be a kind of expensive mistake!!!!!! Why buy a “tuned and deleted” truck with no knowledge of the tune, no tuner, etc. Truck ain’t gonna run when things go south!!!!!!!!!!!
From what I've seen, the livewire will do just fine. I think a more important question to be asking (or searching for your answer) would be "which tunes do I want?" Further, check into which tune will actually work with your truck and possible tuner combination. That my make your decision for you. Good luck with it, there are lots of options and results. They can run really well with a good tuner.
I have a 14’ fully deleted. I went with the sct x4 tuner. Pretty mild tunes (I’m not trying to drag race every car, truck I see) so it works perfectly for me. Very affordable and easy plug and play. Only down side is changing tunes. You have to reprogram the new tune every time you want to utilize a different one. Mind you, I have a 4.5” lift with 35’s and I still have plenty of power and can spin the tires at any given time.
