Oil pan dipstick
I'm needing to change out an oil pan on a 302. The engine block is older from early 70s so only has dipstick in front near thermostat housing. I haven't been able to locate a replacement oil pan with the dipstick fitting outside of a salvage yard where I would need to pull the pan myself. Anyone know where to get a replacement pan with the fitting or has anyone removed the fitting from an old pan and made it work on a replacement pan?

Older blocks don't have the dipstick hole in the side of the block for a center sump pan. Early 80s 302 had an oil pan with a threaded fitting side of pan for the dipstick. I'm needing a source for that style of
pan or need to know if that piece could
be taken off an old
pan and installed on a new replacement pan.
