2005 5.4 F150 engine replacement

Hehehe....... Great minds....👍
Chances are all of the factory rebuilts including Motorcraft are rebuilt by AER in Texas. Motorcraft pays dealer warranty time and the others are about 1/2 of that. So, $3,300 with a $50/hr warranty vs $5400 with a $100/hr warranty, that you'll likely never use. I wound up with an AER, all new wear items (exhaust manifolds, starter, alt, ac compressor...), and install for about $5,500. !0,000 miles on the engine with no issues. I wouldn't put $7500 in a truck with a slipping trans. I thought long and hard about my truck and decided that it was like buying the truck for $5,500. After looking at rusty $12,000 used trucks that weren't as nice as mine, it was an easy choice.
AER via Powersource in mine.... Ford dealer installed (great friend/hunting buddy).....$4,600 installed (3 year/100k "No fault" warranty)
Total to replace AC system, new cops, new manifolds, new radiator, new heavy duty alternator, new belts/hoses/sensors etc, new wiring where necessary, tranny inspection, etc.....a little over $7k total with engine cost and installation included...... Runs and drives like new....(totally rebuilt suspension a little over a year ago.... Drives and tracks perfectly)

My Fraser is an AER also
The motor I got from Fraser is from AER as well. So are Jasper motors.
I sprung the extra $250 each for the "No Fault" warranty on the engine and transmission. 5 years/unlimited miles, no messing around with fixing a problem motor, they simply give you a new one and they cover the parts and labor for removal and replacement. Like the others said, it's a no brainer.
