I am trying to find out what the codes mean for my 76 F-150 4x4.
I have found nowhere that can tell me what they mean and what gear ratios the front and rear ends have as well as the tranny and transfer case. If anyone has any info please respond.
Welcome....Let me see if I can help a little with the the rear end. You have a 9 inch rear with a 3:50 ratio limited slip. The WDH-AE2 is the type of bearing which I believe determines if you have a 28 or 31 spline. 6 AA is the date it was built. The 379A is the assembly plant code. There are many members here that can go into greater detail then I have. Try going to Mil1ion's website, which has lots of info that may help as well. Hopefully they can pickup where I left off.
