Not my listing or anything, but I saw this for sale and thought maybe some people here would be interested in it since theyre discontinued and difficult to find.
Yeah I don't see why those grill inserts are worth that much. You get a couple nostalgic bidders who once had them on a 9th gen back in the day and want them again though and that's what happens.Makes ya wonder how people find NOS stuff like that.Wish they always included the story.

I'm the seller. I found it for sale on Facebook Marketplace, and drove an hour to buy it. The guy I bought it from worked at an auto parts store in the early 2000s. I'm not sure why he was saving it. I don't own a 90's truck anymore, but I sold a used Cold Front in 2017, recognized that they were worth money, and decided it was worth my time to go and buy this one.

Sweet, cool story and good plan. Hopefully it is paying off for you.
I just use cardboard on mine. But I happened to find last summer a brand new never been installed cab visor with running lights for a 70's Ford with the installation kit at an auction. No one had any idea what it was worth, got it for 60$ sold it for $425. That is one time my Wife liked my deal. most of the time it costs me money, and she lets me know it.

Yeah, that's cheaper than used price. That's kinda odd in this case that someone was willing to pay so much more over an easy to find used item like that,as when you paint it,it's just like new again and it's fiberglass so it's not like it's a ware item.Interesting what that nostalgia bone can do I guess.Nice profit.
