i have a 2001 F250- the drivers side door handle is shot- I bought the handle part but the little plastic tab that holds the rod broke- So on the actuator piece- which i removed- I need a new plastic tab- I just don't know what it's called- I can buy the whole latch piece but been having trouble finding it - I attached a pic and circled the piece I need if anyone can help
That is called a outside handle rod clip, latch clip, or lock rod clip, similar item is used in the tailgate.
I have found them in Dorman Help bubble pack at most parts stores.
Remove the rest of the clip and take all the pieces to match it as closely as possible.
LMC also carries them.
