Need help with door handle
Does anyone know how to re-attach the latch actuator rod to the door handle assembly. I disconnected the rod last year so I could remove the door latch and spray prime the exterior door. I have spent a lot of time trying to get the rod into the yellow plastic clip and can't figure out how it's done. There is very little space to work in with the window channel in the way. There is an access hole above the the connection point but it's too small for most tools. Is there a tool or trick to this?

Believe it or not all you should need to do once the end of the rod is in the hole in the clip is push, the clip is designed for the assembly line so isn't supposed to require any tools to assemble.

Thanks. I was trying to do this INSIDE the door(duh). I figured it out...you attach the rod to the door handle on the OUTSIDE through the hole for the door handle and then push the assembly back into position and bolt it in place. Kind of like assembling the slider locks.
