Having used and broken these in much lighter trucks I would recommend an ARB or selectable up front.
On any wet side hill you will be jumping in and out to unlock or lock the hubs as the front will be sliding down hill. And on high traction surfaces you need to get and unlock to turn some corners.
Been there done that.
The Dana 60 is a stout axle with a large carrier I have seen them with lunchbox lockers hold up fine with 40" tires. You will be fine with one in the front. I am not sure if you will have to pull the carrier or not, I know you do on Dana 30 and Dana 44s.
