Wheel well liners

Anyone have an opinion on the wheel well liners? I havnt seen them on a truck. Was wondering if they might trap salt in places making it hard to rinse out...I like the idea they would stop rocks from chipping and denting the aluminum wheel wells...but if they block your ability to rinse the salt out I might rather have the wheel wells linexed.

I have them, but i live in the south. They do trap grime and moisture which is a concern. When i wash my truck i always spend some time spraying around the edges of the liners. Best i figure its better than nothing. If i lived in an area where they salted the roads i personally would not run them. I would just have the wheel well bed lined. My opinion of course.

I run them on my 18 350. I live in the Canadian prairies so we deal with lots of salt. I spend a few extra minutes spraying around the liners and I have never had a problem. I’ve had them on every truck since 2008. To me, trucks look funny without them but they are pretty standard up here.

I have had front and rear on a number of trucks. You'll be glad u have them. Mud and dirt don't really stick to them.

I ordered my truck with liners all around. They do help keep the engine bay cleaner, and just look cleaner overall. IMHO

Anyone buy the liners afterwards and I stall them? Is it difficult?

I purchased mine after and they maybe took 30 minutes to install only because I had to move my stool around the truck. Very simple install really. 3 screws with clips and 3 push buttons on each side from what I remember.

I bought both front and rear OEM after I took delivery. Easy to install. Probably an hour to do all 4.

Super easy to install, Banner Ford had a great deal on them a while ago, might call em and see how much they are shipped. IIRC I got them for $80 shipped to my door. They are totally worth it for the looks alone. Go with the OEM ones, they fit better and don't interfere with Air bags as much as the Husky ones if you decide to add those down the road.

Any wheel liner will hold dirt that will lead to rust. Good news is that Ford is now aluminum alloy. I would still flush things out from underneath the box periodically.

I installed the rear set. i like them. Makes truck look finished! Took about 20 minutes to install. Would have been less had I realized they are a left and a right!!!

I had Line X sprayed on my rear inner fender walls bc it looked odd w the bed showing white with the black tires. Looks good and I don’t have to worry about anything getting trapped in between a liner
