Hello everyone! Does somebody here have experience with these xforce systems? I'm thinking about one for my 2015 5.0 and it would be nice to hear some customer experience about it.
Thank you.

Exactly. The have a muffler with a straight pipe inside and a hidden electric valve. You can control it with your phone. The valve can be opened Individually and with GPS "stations". You can Programm it to be opened only 15% when you are coming home for example.

Ahh okay.
Why over complicate something such as an exhaust not to mention another moving albeit small part that can break.
Just get a quality exhaust system from a company like Borla and call it a day.
I think you’ll be happy with either the Touring or the S-Type System.
That's a really cool idea, I haven't seen this on the aftermarket until now. I like how you can have a louder exhaust when you want it, but not **** off the neighbors at 2 AM on Sunday morning when you don't.
It looks like it's a brand-new product to the market, though. It comes from an Australian company, but they have some major American distributors including Summit racing. But none of them listed on Summit's website have more than two or three reviews, so it's far too soon to see how well it will actually hold up. If they were backed are owned by a major domestic parts company that you know would exist in five years, I would say go for it. But these are the types of complex "good ideas" that can be problematic and dropped by distributors. And good luck pursuing a warranty claim from an offshore company.
I would keep in stock for a while longer and weight for this to be better proven on the market. Or you could be an early adopter, take the risk, and prove the concept for the rest of us!
I looked into this hard before I bought my Corsa for my 2018 5.0L. After reading reviews and thoughts of the valve sticking from heat and soot, I decided I didn’t need a service headache with pipes that’ll be a PITA to remove at 30k. And the price wasn’t that good.
After 25k on my Corsa, it continues to get better with age. The quality is second to none. Absolutely no drone, and it just sounds tough as...
I agree with the others: Looks like a good idea, and too new to tell how well they hold up etc.
Whatever that servo is, in that kind of heat and under-car conditions, would have to be really tough to put up with life for a while.
I also wonder how these are diagnosed and repaired. If it breaks, are any parts field servicable? How do you diagnose a problem? Does the control box help troubleshoot?
Also, in "restricted mode" (?), how does the flow rate compare with stock mufflers?
The reason why I would like to install such a system is that we have some really strict laws about the sound level here in germany. With this kind of setup I can adjust the sound as I need.
I like the idea of having the possibility to choose the volume of your car. Some times you want it loud, some times you want it quiet.
I dont know about the durability but it looks like a well done work to me.
Our police officers know the common cut out valves so I was looking for a "hidden" version. They offer one with the valve motor installed inside the muffler. Click
Maybe I can install this muffler and the cops cant see the valve motor.
If it looks like an aftermarket muffler, they might look a little closer. All they need to see is the wires connected to it to know something is going on there. If you lower your truck enough, they won't be able to get under it to look easily.
I would also prefer a Flowmaster muffler. But if the cops stop me with a Flowmaster and make a dB measurement they will lock down my car and I will have to walk home
I'm allowed up to 83 dB standing still and reving from 0 rpm to 3750 rpm. Therefore the valve. Of course there is a chance they will recognize that the muffler isnt an original Ford muffler
but I bet most of them wont because greymarket imports arent common and they know almost nothing about them. So if the truck is silent during the test they will at least not lock it down.
I'd think it might be a concern with the TÜV. I remember an article on American custom mufflers and the German police do not like it. Even the BMW M performance exhaust isn't legal in Germany. You could pass an undercover police and they will pull you over if it sounds even a tad louder than others. They also know the F-150 are very quiet vehicles. They're not stupid.
Germany once considered a blanket 210-km/h speed limit in Germany because of noise.
I'm so glad I don't live there anymore, it was a nightmare for me.
You are right. Its a pain in the ***. I will have to switch the muffler everytime before I have to visit the TÜV or I wont be allowed to use the truck. But the sound is worth it to me.
