ABS light and no O/D

Last night I went to hook up my trailer and noticed my brake controller was not coming on. I then Noticed i had no brake lights. I troubleshoot down to the switch on the pedal. The contacts were corroded when I opened it up. I cleaned them up and reinstalled then boom brake lights.
pull out of the drive way and get up to about 20mph and the ABS light comes on. I still have brake lights and the brake controller is working BUT... the abs light is on and the truck would NOT shift in to od. So no od and abs light is on.
No light and was shifting fine the day before. Speedo works too. Any ideas ?

I seem to recall the third brake light bulb, that if it's burnt out it can cause issues.

Is the speedo reading erratically? Your VSS in the rear pumpkin might be flaky.

I just ran my AE on it.
Cleared the codes and went for a drive. ABS light was off and when I hit 20mph the ABS light came on.

I checked the codes and had B1485 Brake Pedal Input Circuit Short to Ground.

Im i googled it and the only thing i could come up with is the switch on the pedal being bad, or the cruse control deactivation switch being bad.
I also had read it could be possible the ABS module is bad.

When the ABS light came on, did the OD light blink also?

I did not notice the OD blink when the ABS light came on.

I was watching the dash. But driving the truck the OD light does not blink flicker or flash.
I noticed the TC locks at 55mph instead of 35 or 40mph. Once it locks i can manually hit the OD button and the TC unlocks and the light is on as normal..

Like i mentioned the issue originated from me noticing my brake controller not working. I then noticed i had no truck tail lights. I took apart the brake light switch on the pedal and cleaned it. The brake control is working and i do have truck brake lights. With the trailer hooked up i have truck and trailer brake lights. Even the 3rd brake light on the cab is working.

Im really leaning on it being that switch on the pedal. I never have had one apart but looking at it from right to left the first 3 tabs had the small round connectors on them the last 2 did not but you could see where they had been making contact. After cleaning the contacts and installing is when the brake lights started working.

I did notice on AE during live data the brake light signal would not register when i lightly pressed the pedal. When i really pushed on it is when i would get a reading. But when lightly pressing on it the brake lights do come on so thats strange.
I may just get one tomorrow and see what happens. If not im out 15 bucks and can rule it out. Although i hate throwing parts at things.

Sounds like the best option at this point. Let us know. At least it's only $15

I agree with JT250. Sounds like you've narrowed it down to the brake pedal sensor. The transmission error causing the OD light to blink may have been short-to-ground weirdness.

Just an update.

I put the brake pedal switch in this afternoon and went for a ride. All is good ! ABS light never came on and the reading on AE was instant when i touched the pedal.
After googling and researching the code and getting the orignal switch functioning again i was a bit concerned that may not be the fix. But seeing thats where the issue seemed to have started and AE pointed right to it i did feel better about getting the switch and giving it a shot.

Thanks to the brotherhood for the replies and advice.
