Your opinion contradicts what the others are saying. You have to drive it to get it into limp to pull a code. I'm not made of money, are you? I'm trying boy to be disrespectful but I'm not sure what positive you added to this thread other than to troll.
The codes will be there regardless of limp mode or not. Not trying to be disrespectful and definitely not a troll just asking a simple question as to why you would continue to drive it. I know mine would be parked until I knew what was going on as not to cause more damage.
The codes are not there because I unhooked the batteries, either that or because my scanner won't read them. It's currently parked at the shop and waiting to be looked at tomorrow. Thanks for your input. I'm learning, we've always had 7.3s and this is our first 6.0 and transmission solenoids are all new to me. Heck most of our trucks on the farms have zf5 or zf6s actually.
Don't give up on these trannys. My '08 F550 has one and it's a beast. My '06 34' motorhome with a F53 chassis has one. Ford wouldn't have put them in trucks that heavy without some confidence that they would hold up.

Thank you. I used to have one beingb a 350 v10 and my brothers gave one behind a 450 v10. I'm thinking and hoping it's nothing catastrophic and it can be taken care of easily.
