6R80 - P0657 Need Help!
Cross posted, need a quick response.
Rebuilt a 6r80, after install had a number of codes. Trans wouldn't into go into gear. We had to splice in a new C6 connector as the old one came out in pieces.P0657P0706 P0707P0152P2195Assuming a bad solenoid, I pulled the valve assembly and tested all them. All perfectly in the middle of spec. Thinking we messed something up we bought a brand new harness. Codes remained, and then it wouldn't even show the gear position on the dash.Assumed Leadframe bad. Ran the diagnostics and Bought a brand new one of those too. Same issues. Re-did the diagnostics. No power to pin 4 on C6. The manual says either harness or TCM. Being that the TCM is part of the ECM we bought a wrecker one.Same codes. Ran the old harness to the trans only (not t-case, O2 sensors) . Most codes gone but the P0657 remains, and now P1639 from swapping ECM. It also shows the gear positioning on the dash. I'm going to check the new harness and make sure it's not a built at 4 on Friday harness. Any other ideas?
