Need help!
I have a 2008 f-250 SD with a 6.4 stock. Runs great but just replaced a water pump. 220k miles. My question; while hauling our 5th wheel thru the Grapevine in California (a big hillclimb) it suddenly made a sound like I blew a radiator hose. Pulled over, no coolant on ground, engine temp was fine, no codes no warnings. Started to accelerate and it sounds like a jet engine, like a huge air or exhaust leak. Turbo boost is about half. Drove it another 500 miles to complete our trip. Could it be the dreaded Y-pipe?

Sounds like it blew a hose on the pressure side of the turbos somewhere. I had that happen right after it'd been in the shop years ago. The mechanic failed to retighten a clamp after he had hose off.
