Chrome door handles
i am looking at ordering a truck next week and want the chrome mirrors and door handles but not all the other crap that comes with the chrome package. Can these be added as line items or can this not be done? Thanks

The stick ons do look good; I had them on my 2012, but make no mistake, they are definitely not the same as factory installed. For instance, the mirror caps do not fit flush - there is a lip around the chromed plastic cover.
There really isn’t much to the chrome package other than the door handles and mirror caps, the tow hooks and in bed tie downs are all I can think of. Plenty of people would be happy to trade black for chrome and maybe even add a few bucks.

Factory handles are about $60 a door if I recall. You have to buy the ENTIRE door handle mechanism, not just the "cap". You can also buy the factory chrome mirror caps - I do not recall their price.
The stick on aftermarket stuff is much cheaper, but it just depends on if you want OEM or aftermarket.
I went the other direction and painted all my chrome handles & mirror caps to match the body paint! I actually have a set of factory chrome mirror caps I'll send you if you pay to ship. I had to break one of the tabs off to get the mirror cap out, but it will still secure just fine to the truck. PM me if you're interested.

It did not come with chrome in bed tie downs - they were all black.

Sneaky B-tards. I'm actually OK with it. I prefer less chrome. I've painted my door handles & mirror caps & have new rims with zero chrome sitting in the garage. haha. Bought off the lot & had the chrome package - luckily it's easy to swap out!

Thanks! Was concerned the aftermarket ones would be cheap crap. If y’all are happy with them it works for me. . . I’d get oxford white if I didn’t just paint my 72 f250 that color. I think I’m going magnetic
