Tapping into parking light circuit?

I'll be watching this...in case I want to do it also. There is a previous generation truck around our neighborhood that has done this, but his lights are way too bright. The truck is the maroon/brown, and he has the reddish/orange lights for the emblems. And they are bright. Too bright. It would look good I think if they were toned down a bit.

I know you can grab power from the bulb wires behind the headlights. Not sure how convenient that is though. You'll need to pull the grille, remove bolts for headlights and pull them out enough to find your wires. Also might need to loosen all the bumper bolts to get access to the lower headlight bolt between the fender and the bumper. it's stupid.

To get to the bulb lights just pull the driver side battery out. You can reach them easy from there with a simple 3 mins of work. As long as you are using low draw led lights it should be just fine.
