I was wondering why these kits say just for diesel...
Can this kit fit on my 6.2 2017 gas super duty... I have their 4 inch spacer lift... I really like there stuff.. If it's just a coil rate issue, I'm fine with that... Will it make it sit higher cause of it if it is? I'm ok with that too... I just want to know if I can technical install this on my truck... Thanks guys..
It will fit your truck, there's nothing physically different in the suspensions. It says in their marketing stuff that its an engine specific coil rate, so my guess is they think it will ride too rough and lift more than the 6".
I thought there might be some issue on the gassers related to how the exhaust was routed and lifting the truck could cause some interference between the front drive shaft and some exhaust pipes, vaguely remember that from when I owned my '11 6.2L Or I could be completely making that up, anything is possible. Curious as to the outcome.

I do remember something about that, but I thought that was for 4-link kits....best to call Superlift anyways.
There 4 inch kit said the same. . But where the gas motor was lighter the axle favored the drivers side a little more given more then enough clearance .. If not then you had to lossen up the drivers side exhaust and pry it over and retigten... To give clearance... I just lived with it. . You had to really stare at it to see the axle sat more to drivers side.. I am fine with it as, like I said. Gave me ample clearance with front driveshaft
Ps.. I did write them though...because I suck on the phone.... Lol
Carli suspension specifies for diesel also. Need to remember to email Dan at Carli and see if they are going to offer gas engine specific springs. The diesel engine weighs something like 800 lbs more? Substantially heavier so the springs should also be adjusted for the gasoline engine?
The K167 is not available with Bilsteins or for the gas engine trucks. The truck will sit higher, have a very stiff ride, and will not be able to be aligned. Not to mention the front driveshaft would then be overextended
This is from super lifts email... Sound right?
Overextended drive shaft? And not be able to be aligned
