Tachometer Calibration?
I have a 20001 EX 6.8L. The tachometer reads about 200 rpm high at idle and gets further off as the engine rpm's increase. (about 700 rpm high at 2000 rpm.) Using both a Matco low budget scan tool and a Snap-On Ethos scan tool to read actual engine rpm. I've tried the search function but didn't find any answers. Is there a means to calibrate the tach.?
