EGT check engine light

Good afternoon all - I have a 2033, 2479, and a 2031 - codes being thrown - I replaced the Bank 1 Sensor 2 - but the codes still persist and wont allow a manual regen to occur - Is there some sort of learning process that needs to happen? I have a OBD MX+ and the Forscan software - I did a search but could not find anything that showed an issues with replacing the EGT sensor and having the same error. - Any and all input would be greatly appreciated - My truck is a 2011 6.7 - and the mileage is past the warranty coverage for the sensors.

Thanks in advance.

Ok - finally got the code cleared by changing the other egt sensor in the same bank - and now Forscan is asking about the version of Sync - (which i don't know) and every time i try to upload the XML file for verification - the upload process fails - Is there another method to determine what version of Sync I currently have? I have heard that a vehicle health report might work - but i would prefer to use some sort of specific utility to verify the Sync version - Every time i have tried to download the verify tool - i get a continuous loop from the login screen back to the download page - (I waited an hour to see if maybe it was a que) but no such luck - when i try to download the verify tool - i get the login loop over and over again.. Thanks in advance for any help..

If you go into settings you should be able to see the version.

Thanks for the info - i looked at the settings screen - nothing that shows a valid version is displayed - I did a bit of digging and as i understand the question - it is related to hardware version, and not software - additionally i was given the impression that the hardware version could not be 3.0 as it was not yet in use - that all 2011 Super-duty trucks got the 2.0 hardware - regardless of the software that it is running - does anyone know if this is correct information or not?

Thanks in advance..

Try pressing the "Help" button after you enter "Settigs".

Thanks for the response - The help button will display the hardware version, or the software version? (I'm not sure if you saw the previous message, but software version is not related to the FORSCAN question)
