Will Aftermarket CAC Tube ruin Extended Warranty?

Have '15 F350 with 25k miles. Runs perfectly. Age is around 70 & pull our fiver a little. After learning problems inherent to cold side CAC tube I'd feel a lot better replacing it with a quality part than gambling far away from home.
Has anyone found out if this is ok if you have extended warranty? Thank you & have a good weekend.

This modification will not harm any warranty.

I use the H&S for stock trucks. This is the one for non-tuned trucks. H&S

That one looks A LOT simpler to install than the four piece metal ones.

Speaking with my parts guy at my dealership, apparently Ford has updated the CAC tube, changed the design of it and it now uses better clamps on both sides. Just an option if you don’t want to go aftermarket

i put a 2 piece metal on mine from Rudy's Diesel. Was approx $150 for the kits and fairly easy install as opposed to what someone above said. You can now get a kits with on metal piece and more silicone tube for $100 or less.

here is where I installed mine.

This the one I used, by Rudy's Diesel. There's a good install thread posted by Just Stroking.

The service rep at the Ford dealer I take my truck to said "I see you replaced the cold side intercooler pipe, probably a good move, we've seen quite a few trucks in here that have had an issue with that pipe". Tells me I'm good to go on the extended warranty.

Interesting list of disclaimers on the HS replacement pipe.

Clamps won't help much if there's a hole blown in the tube (my experience).

What warranty?

i have a 2019 with an 8/125k ford extended and can’t get appts for anything.

i should have spent the warranty money on mods.
