How do these numbers sound

So I am new to the towing world and have been doing a lot of reading about setting up to tow safely. I took my truck and trailer to the local CAT Scale and here is what I got:

TV: 2011 F250 Lariat 6.2L SRW 4x4 156 WB Crew Cab (GVWR 9600, GCWR 19,000, GFWR 4800, GRWR 6100, Max Payload 2381(sticker), LT275/65R18 'E'
Weight: 7480lbs - Steer axle 4280lbs Drive Axle 3200lbs (full tank of gas @35 gallons and me @225lbs)

TT: 2018 Prowler Lynx 255LX (GVWR 7600lbs, Dry Weight 6152lbs, Dry tongue weight 652lbs)
( I didn't weigh the trailer by itself which in hindsight would have helped I am sure)

Both on the scale: Steer Axle 4040lbs Drive Axle 4220lbs Trailer axle 5760lbs Gross weight 14020lbs
(Weighed with the Fastway e2 Round Bar hitch set up)

So it seems to me that the WDH is set up properly based on the measurements of the front and rear of the TT when set up (they are within a 1/2" with the high side being the front)
Based on the weights, I am feeling pretty good about the set up. Looks like the tongue weight is 780lbs (14020 GW - 7480 TVW - 5750 TT = 780). The TV drive axle is up 1020lbs when hooked up and the drive axle is down 240lbs which to me confirms the TW of 780lbs.

I know I may not have all the correct numbers and, as I mentioned earlier, I should have weighed the TT alone as well. Based on the info I do have, how am I looking?? (be gentle LOL)

Thanks in advance for the help/suggestions.

Sounds like you are ready to go. You’ve even got cargo capacity to carry a friend and stuff.

Ideally your steer axle should be the same or vary close with the weight distribution hitch connected as it would be unloaded.. Your steer axle is 240lbs light with the trailer connected. I have that same hitch and a similar weight travel trailer. Raising the bars up one notch would add to much weight transfer. I would add one washer or maybe 2 to the hitch head so the ball tilts back a bit more, that should bring your steer axle back up to the unloaded weight.

You are by no means out of bounds the way you are setup now. Actually you did more than most by taking the combo to the scales.

You don't need to weigh the Trailer by itself. Just take the 14020 and minus out the Truck-only gross weight of 7480 to get 6540 lbs trailer weight.

I"m a geek for the scale tickets, but the final test for any trailer WDH setup is how it handles. If it was me I might try the WDH a touch higher, but you are pretty good right now, and sometimes tighter doesn't "feel" better. There's no single perfect setup that can be done by numbers alone.

You are towing a 1/2 ton towable camper with a 3/4 ton truck.

Not much you can do wrong to make it tow poorly. You are using a WDH and took some care setting it up.

Unless you are experiencing some kind of trouble, this is a “hook up and go” type of deal.

IMO.
YMMV

I agree with your tongue weight calculation too, although you have a typo.
Sometimes on relatively stiffer trucks with smaller trailers and lighter WD gear, the old tape measure method doesn't show much. I like it as you are using it here, as a double-check on the scale ticket calculations.

Overall, you are doing great, and as mentioned above, already have put more effort into this than most people.

Thanks dirthawg! I currently have 4 washers and I was thinking that the only adjustment I might need was an additional washer. Now, if it would just stop raining/snowing, I could get out and use the TT!!!

Thank you all for the feedback!! I am talking my wife and two kids to Yellowstone this summer so I want to have my set up tight by then. We have a few short trips planned before we head west so I can dial it in.

I currently have 6 washers on my hitch so 5 should be spot on for you. I added an additional washer to help with the load of firewood I haul in the truck bed when towing the TT.
