Seems amazing in 2020 but the '58 ranchero belonged to a mechanic selling a rust bucket '58 4 door car cheap. I was 16 and he saw me looking at it. When I told him I couldn't drive a stick he threw me the keysiiiux to his ranchero, went through the hand motions of the three speed and said here don't wreck it. Twenty minutes later I was an expert. Dad looked at the rusted out car and wouldn't let me buy it.
