If you're talking about the barn door on the driver's side rear, and you are replacing because it isn't working, then you probably just need a cable. Or, better yet, just cable ends.
I found a 'how to' on here, but ended up saving myself some time.
1) Drilled out 2 pop-rivets on the barn door handle (1/4" bit)
2) removed latch mechanism via 3ea T-27 Torx bolts located on underside of door
3) removed entire assembly through the hole where the 'handle' goes.
- Once it was out, found broken plastic on both ends of the cable. Removed remnants of plastic, and installed these on each end:
4) cable ends may require some 'cleaning' to remove burred plastic, and make them smooth. A little bit of sandpaper or a file will make it quick. Once the plastic sheathing is smooth, slide the cable sheathing into the new metal cable ends, with cable running through the slot.
****If you can't get the cable or the sheath to fit, spread the metal ends apart with a wide flathead screwdriver or chisel until it all fits. Once it all fits, you can clamp it back tight with pliers.
5) reinstall cable into latch mechanism
6) reinstall cable into handle mechanism
7) reinstall latch into door via 3ea T-27 torx bolts
8) reinstall handle into door with 2ea 1/4" rivets.
Took me less than 15min. The biggest thing is I didn't have to deal with removing the interior door panel and plastic weather shield. Some people would rather do that than mess with rivets. I have rivets and a rivet gun handy, much easier.
