Exclamation In Need

Gentlemen,
I'm looking for a C2 connector for the 14289 assembly / 14401 assembly, located at the center of the engine compartment firewall. The connector houses wire 39 (R-W), wire 31 (W-R), and the union of 16A (PK) / 262 (Brown).
If anyone has a link for electrical connectors which might have this connector, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Dan

Which year is it, 67-69 or 70-72? Do you need the engine side or the dash side connector? You might be able to get the engine gauge feed wire section from a mustang parts place like scott drake if the plug is on the engine side of the firewall (70-72). The section going through the firewall is only about a foot long and taps into the middle of the dash harness. I might even have one here if I know what you're looking for.

Thanks Mike, good information! The section going through the firewall is what I need. I'll take a look at Scott Drake.

Thanks Gary!
I'm still plugging away on my old '72 a day at a time. We did the rear wheel bearings yesterday, finding a very "rusty" bearing on the left side. The differential vent hose had disintegrated and the vent was blocked, the lube had to be flushed and replaced. Differential is ok for now and it's amazing how much easier the old truck rolls.

The guy I know here didn't have it, but he" knows a guy". We will see him on sunday. Yeah, amazing what that oil and grease will do for a bearing when it didn't have any for a long time. Just think of all that spare HP you'll have now.

When I saw the title "In Need" I thought maybe you were Robert Craft looking for a new business associate after his last one didn't work out so well.

Talking RE: In Need

Sorry to disappoint you gman!

By the way, the connector in question is the same one used at the left rear for the Taillights, Brake / Turn Signals and Backup lights! It's a three wire connector that's very similar to a trailer plug.

Gary, mike, gman and my72,

Thanks for the help on the connector but, I've decided to use a new WeatherPack connector for the connection. Would have liked brand new Motorcraft, but no such luck,

Dan

Post a pic of how the WeatherPack set-up comes out. I still have a sh-- ton of wire to replace, and WeatherPack might be the way to finish up.
