Hey all,
I'm having some voltage drain issues and I came across this connector with the chewed up green wire coming out of the end. It's located on the passenger side fender kinda underneath and to the front of the starter relay, and is wired into the bundle that goes across the rear of the engine bay and to the fuse box I believe.
Can anyone tell me what this connector is called? It looks like I can just unclip the end that's chewed and replace it. Thanks!!
I do have ESOF, it hasn't worked since I bought the truck though. Could be my problem.
It hasn't worked at all (no 4x4 light on the dash) or the hubs only lock when you do it manually?
The pulse hub solenoid is only for locking/unlocking hubs. It does not interact with the transfer case (that's a different solenoid).
If your ventilation goes to defrost when you go into or out of 4wd that is an indication of a vacuum leak somewhere between the pulse hub vacuum solenoid and the auto-locking hubs.
Here's an idea of where it's located. Sorry for the confusing pics, it's a difficult location to get to. The green (chewed) wire comes out of the end of the piece and then goes right back into it in a loop. The other end of the connector has 5 wires coming out of it.

Nothing 4x4 works, not the ESOF or when the hubs are locked manually.
