New to the site. Thank you for all the information available!!! I'm in NTx if anyone needs anything. Pulled the trigger on this 76 today. I'm super excited to get the project started.

Morning??? O.K. whatever. It sure looks like a sweet place to start from. Might want to put a little air in that front tire Love those bed rails.

Where you going with your project?

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks.... nothing too radical. The plan for now is to just get her running. She was a daily driver until 2012 so maybe it wont be too bad!!! Long term plan is mild street motor, headers, good exhaust, lower rear end 2", 4 link, good stereo then clear over the existing patina/paint.
Congrats and welcome! The bed side toolbox is a very nice option. I'm sure you've already noticed, but this site is an excellent source of info, and the collective experience here is unrivaled for the dent side trucks. I've got a '76 2WD 302 manual with the 3 on the tree that I'm currently still restoring. My mechanicals are pretty much finished, and I hope to have it read for paint by this summer. Give us some details about your truck and any options you'd like to add. For me, the Power Steering and Power Brake additions were the most time consuming, but well worth it.
