New member here. Looks like a great board with a lot of info.
Working on a not-so-new to me 08 F-250 Lariat, with the 6.8.
I've had it for a year, and been struggling to figure out a climate control issue.
It has the dual zone, automatic, no heated seats. It blew the wrong temp on the passenger side, so ran the self diag, showed the code for the passenger side actuator, which I then replaced when I installed the new stereo this fall.
Still doesn't work, it doesn't do anything at all, and still throws the code.
Is it the in dash controls at this point, or is there something else to check first?
Hmmm.....Is that the right actuator? I know there's 3 actuators.....drivers side hot/cold is definitely right above the transmission hump, as mine went and i had to replace that one......Now for some reason I am thinking passenger side hot/cold is up in behind the glove box? The actuator behind the stereo I think controls the selection of different air flows...defrost...floor...vent etc?
