Was at the dealer today starting the process of ordering a 250 cc lb 4x4 stx 6.2
On the build sheet it doesn't have MSOS as an option. I pointed this out, salesman said yes he checked the box and where it says "manual locking hubs" here on the sheet is MSOS.
I'm really sceptical of his accuracy on that and I dont want to close this deal and have the truck come in with ESOF.
The build sheet should list MSOS as an option correct? Not as manual locking hubs?
All advice and the groups knowledge is greatly appreciated. Much thanks in advance!!
I ordered my truck with msos and i only have manual hubs listed on the order sheet and the window sticker. My truck is not in yet but it should be in this week and it comes with the manual hubs I will post it up if it doesn't I'll be ordering a new truck. XLT is the highest trim package you can buy msos package on. On my thread I show my window sticker and the computer-generated image that Ford shows for the interior on my truck. The image clearly shows the manual transfer case shifter.
Oh I forgot to mention manual locking hubs option needs to be in the optional equipment as even the lariats have the manual locking hubs in the standard equipment I have to window stickers that I've compared one is it Lariat loaded up and the other is my window sticker on my XLT mine has the manual locking hubs in the standard equipment as well as an option in the lower box the lariat only has the manual locking hubs in the standard equipment
What does the manual locking hub option entail? Does it still have a **** or lever what?
it has the lever on the floor with selections 2H, 4H, N, 4L and manual locking hubs with the choices of LOCK and FREE. In addition, if you purchase the LOCKING rear differential, it has a dash mounted control **** with two positions ON and OFF [this **** is in place of the multi-function ESOF **** if your truck has ESOF]....AND, you do not have the electrically-actuated transfer case [solenoid or motor, I cannot remember what they say] which many, as do I, believe makes for a much simpler system.
Just to update ya mine did come in with msos and it works great already used it to move the 5ver around the yard and with 2low and 4.10 gears never came off idle to move it.

I had to give up the MSOS over the center console. My wishlist had both but I figured the center console won out. If I used 4WD more I would have stayed with the MSOS.
