Question OFF ROAD Decal question

Hello to all.
I have a question about the Off Road 4X4 decals on my bed sides. Mine are designed with the large OFF ROAD and a smaller 4x4 underneith. All of them that I have seen see to have the 4x4 over the off-road and the 4x4 is larger than the off-road. I was just curious about this. I went to Gatlenburd Tn. this weekend and saw over 100 of these trucks and none have the decal like mine.
Mine is a 2001 F150 OFF-Road 4x4.
Jimmy

PS, photos in my gallery.

Well, it seems that some of my pictures have dissappeared out of my gallery. One gallery is completely empty. It had pictures in it the last time I checked it. I will take and post some more tomorrow.

I dont know what yours look like but I got a set of new decals designed for the 2001 year model f150 off of ebay for my 81 Bronco. If you wanted to change them, Im sure you can find some on there too. Did you buy the truck new? Maybe the previous owner decided he wanted the truck to look a little different.

i've seen a few decals like yours running around...definitely rarer than the 4x4 over the off-road part. i think it's cool the way you have them...and unique also, you ought to keep them that way.

I plan on keeping them, I just thought that it was odd the so few trucks have them this way.

like i said, i'd rather have your decal than the others...(except for my FX4! heh heh heh)!

btw...that's a nice lawn you got goin' there. from the looks of your picture, you probably live close to the coast somewhere...am i right?

well i just read your location...Kentucky. boy was i wrong! the reason i had guessed the coast was that i've only seen those drainage ditches running along the side of the road/street, near lower lying areas (lower lying near water of course!). oh well nice lawn AND truck anyway.

Well, I live about 3 miles from the Ohio river, if that counts. I just get it sprayed a couple of times a year and mow it about twice a week. We have gotten alot of rainfall this year so it is really been growing like crazy.
Thanks for the comment. I too like the FX4 decals! My next truck will probably be a FX4 SuperCrew if I ever have to replace this one.

lxman1 - the "off road" sticker was changed in 2001. I have a 2000 with 4X4 in larger letters and Off Road underneath in smaller letters. In 2001 the only difference we could find was the sticker where Off Road was Larger letters with 4x4 underneath. The trucks you're seeing with larger 4X4, smaller Off Road should be year 2000 or older.

2001's must be pretty rare then. I have only seen a couple of them in the past few months.
