Calibrating speedometer?
I have a '03 4x4 Lariat with the 6.0 l diesel and the 5-speed auto and 3.73 rear end.
When driving with my GPS turned on, I noticed that the speedo is off by several mph - 75 indicated but only 72ish actual.
Is there any way to calibrate the speedo to read the correct value?

Mine does the same thing. I was travelling with the Meridian GPS Tracking & I noticed a regular -1.5 - 2 mph deviation on the GPS. The truck said we were doing 70 & the GPS said 68.5. I didn't have a chance to see if the odometer was off by the same factor. If the odometer is tracking correctly, I will write it off to analog meter inaccuracy.
