hey guys i was wonderin if an automatic 94 f240 would sound good with maybe straight pipe or flowmasters. and which one would be louder/deepertone thanks alot
What engine is in it? Either will sound better than stock. If It still has the cat on it a strait pipe after that will sound good. Thats the way my truck was before I got headers.
well with a manual you can control how high the rpms go which creates more exhasht noise and i was just wonderin about an auto because you cannot really rev it up whithout it reachin a certain point then have it shift.
With a stick shift you can hold the clutch and rev as much as you want and then drop the clutch (your clutch won't last too long though)
With an auto, it depends how hard to press the gas. If you press the gas slowly, you'll shift gears smothly, but if you mash the gas the tranny will downshift or upshift (depending how fast you're already going) and have a louder exhaust since you're at higher RPM.
