6.7 fuel transfer pump upgraded on 6.0.
Hello everyone, I was hoping to see if anyone has done a 6.7 fuel pump on a 6.0, I already collected all the parts to do the swap but I'm having hard time figuring out one thing. I was hoping that someone that has done this swap could tell me what size is the quick connect fitting on the return side of the fuel sending unit on a 2014 f350, I'm doing a 6.7 fuel pump swap on my 6.0 and I'm having a hard time figuring out what size is that fitting, I know the feed side is 1/2" but the return is slightly smaller, I tried a 3/8 fitting but it was too small. My 6.0 has a 6.7 fuel tank in it, that is why I'm also using the 6.7 fuel sending unit on the swap.

I am building my own 6.7 to 6.0 fuel system as well to keep up with larger injectors.
On the 6.7L fuel pump the feeds are 1/2” and the return side is 12mm. Here are the fittings you need for the return side:

If you want 90 degree fittings to get the fuel line close to the frame rail sooner use these:
(There is no image but it’s a 90 degree)

You HAVE to run the return line through the pump or it will not work correctly.

Thank you so much for the info, I can't believe that ******* is metric, no wonder why I couldn't figured it out.

It’s the volume that the 6.0 HFCM can’t put out. Running 1/2” feed and return lines with the feed splitting to the heads then out to the regulated return. There’s a guy running 285/100 injectors with the 6.7 system with no considerable pressure drop. It’s a beast of a pump. It makes the 6.0 HFCM feel like a toy. Some guys tried feeding the 6.0 pump with the 6.4 pump and it was OK but this 6.7 pump far exceeds it as well. For the price of FASS and AirDog pump kits it’s worth it. If you ever have a pump failure you can get this pump from any Ford dealer and the filters are cheaper. I’m doing a CAT 2 micron with water separation for the secondary filter as well. Both filters next to each other easily accessible on the inside frame. I have the pump right here in front of me. I’m getting the parts together and doing this while I am pulling the engine, replacing heads, resealing and I will have the tank dropped to remove my stock hitch and fab a bracket set for my F250 rear bumper.
The other reason I’m doing this is because my stock HFCM can’t keep up with my 175/30s and more aggressive tuning without dropping in the 20’s.

Started the 6.7 upgraded today.
Started working on the 6.7 powerstroke fuel pump upgraded on the 6.0 frankenford, it was very difficult to find a suitable place for the pump and filter, so I ended up mounting it on the passenger side outside the frame, when you are missing 4 feet of chassi it makes it hard to find space for things, from there to the back of the heads will be a short route. I'm doing a 6.7 pump and DIY fuel regulated return together.

Parts list
I saw your video on YouTube and was wondering if you could put together a parts list and some semi detailed instructions on what you did.Perhaps in video form or even just on here if that would be easier. Thank you so much!
