Hi BBSlider001 yes its a 7.3 Australian RHD delivered F250. I think the 2003 motors came to Australia in 2004 and they ( the trucks ) were made in Spain.
Ah gotcha...sorry about that...but yes, these guys have you on the right path. Man how nice to be able to still get ahold of a later 7.3!

They were never made in Spain. They were made in Brazil, Ford did direct imports from 2001-2006. The 4.2 and 7.3 diesel were available along with the 2v 5.4 gas engine. Ford also employed using remanufactured engines to supply the Brazil factory and that was no secret.
Hi Walleye Hunter,
I did the blowback test and the cap did not lift at all, even got Wife to gently rev the engine so that side looks good to me. Next step is under cover wiring harness and the cracked tips.
I did the test and the crank is strong and even, sounds just like the video. Have also done blow by test and that is good too, on to UVC Harness and cracked or bad injectors.
Thanks Bob
If you have android phone and tablet get a bluetooth OBDII adapter, if you have Apple products get a WIFI adapter. ForScan is free for andriod and about $5.00 (US) and easy to use.

Good news Bob. This means not catastrophic damage at this point
Well all tests done and confirm a harness issue, I will try the 50 cent fix as long as there is no harness damage. The US quarter is 24.66 mm in diameter and 1.75 mm in thickness, our closest coin is the Australian 10 cent piece at 23.7 mm and 1.8 mm and I believe a good candidate for the part, it is also a silver plated coin same as a quarter. I will cut it down as the videos show and send a video and put it on for you guys to see (if I can work that out). I take it that some prep time is in order to remove some of the gear over the cover going by videos on you tube. Any further advice is appreciated.
All Australian trucks were 7.3s and to buy a second hand engine is about $8 to $9 thousand dollars!
A second hand Toyota Landcriuser motor is $20K!
Thanks everyone for your help, this a great forum. Bob
Are trucks in Australia required to have the roll bar behind the cab? Or is that just a popular thing? Most of them had roll bars when I looked at that link for the classified ad's.
