XG-11 Grease
many recommendations to use the recommended Motorcraft XG-11 Grease. How come no-one sells it? there is one, only one listing on EBAY only. It is not on Amazon at all. It isnt readily available at any auto zone, oreilly, etc auto parts stores, even on-line. what gives with the scarcity of this item yet there is alot of recommended usage?

XG-11 is a good grease and it's high 572 drop temp is great in wheel bearings. However it's not needed for the front axle. You can get Valvoline Ford moly grease that has a license and carries Ford's M1C75B spec.

thanks Ford390 i will check into Valvoline product...and no not XG-12, and Ford does not carry direct that i have been able to find. when i contacted local ford direct for XG-11 grease they quoted axle oil. maybe Ford Service Centers get bulk batch for their own service department or maybe they use Valvoline too, ford does not sell the 14oz tubes direct. online search would also bring up this product available from Ford which it doesn't.
