2020 Super Duty
New Super Duty on the horizon. Might be the first diesel having over 500hp and over 1000ft/lb torque. No values have been released yet. I do like the photos of the front end and the read dually fenders. Will have the 10 speed transmission. Wonders if it will will then give consistent mpg over 20 for either the new 7.3 pushrod gas burner or the upped power levels of the 6.7 Power Stroke.

I'm a fan of the tweaks! I was hoping to see a bigger center screen change similar to the new Rams, I'm sure it's coming. (New Ram HD gets the massive screen like the half ton, and a whopping 17 speaker 750 watt sound system).
Just my opinion before people get worked up, but I don't think the Pro Trailer Backup Assist has a place in a Superduty. The F-150, sure, as maybe some drivers less exposed to towing get some assistance the odd time, but I feel like if your towing demands lead you to a purpose-built Superduty for the weight (thus size) that you don't see in an F-150, the driver should be able to manually maneuver and be in control of that load without assistance. All I picture is some guy who just financed a 45' toyhauler and Superduty with zero down trying to reverse in a campground, too preoccupied with the dial at his knee instead of watching what his trailer and front end of his truck is doing.

I currently have a '15 cummins with the 8.4" touchscreen. a lot of the various controls are all through the touchscreen such as heated seats, steering wheel, and HVAC controls. while I think the new giant touch screens look great, I think they will be a pain in the *** to use. driving on bumpy roads where you have to hit an icon to take you to the screen you want, then have to hit another icon to do whatever you want, I find myself taking my eyes off the road longer and a lot of times you press the wrong icon. I think there is something to be said for tactile response from good old buttons. ordered a '19 platinum last month. even happier now because I don't like the grill change on the '20's. also, I do not like to buy 1st year model big changes such as the new 10 speed transmission, done that before and learned my lesson,

In my opinion all these power numbers (HP, torque, PSIs) are salesmanship ploys, trying to keep up with the Johnson's. Half those power numbers served us quite well just a few short years ago (well maybe 40 yrs).
Now work towards getting significantly better fuel economy would appeal to me; I'm currently seeing 8-9 mpg towing.
