Welcome to FTE rags, find a donor 74-up, you can have power steering and disc brakes, I did all that before we had the internet keep a log of what parts you use so when you need to rplc things you know what you have in it.

77-79 are the ones to have. Get everything even the brackets for column and the left engine stand. plan on doing something with your column (it will be 2 inches longer)

Front disc brakes introduced in 1973 F100 2WD, 1975 F150 2WD

1973/79 F100 2WD: Manual disc brakes were standard equipment, power disc brakes were optional.

All 1975/79 F150 2WD's have power disc brakes.

1980 and later disc brake parts will not work on 1979 or older. Passenger Car and Econoline parts of any year will not work.

If you're going to use the Ford/Saginaw steering gear from 68-79 (I think) trucks, there are 2 different pitman arms. One will fit 66-71 drag link/tie rod setups and the other will fit 72-79. I may be a little off on the year. You can use either setup on your 66, just as long as you have the matching pitman arm. It's pretty hard to find the early one.
