Wiring identification help needed

This appears to go into the bulkhead plug above it in the picture. Before I plug it back in I’d like to know what it is.

No it's not. It's marked with ID engineering number: D6OB-14489-DA = Ford part number: D6OZ-14489-B .. Wire Sleeve-Red .. TYPE 15 in pic:

The seat belt buzzer could have 4 different ID engineering numbers, all of which include basic number 13150 .. Ford part number is D4AZ-13150-B

Try to get some wire colors off the back of it, tell us what the colors are, that's a good hint to find them on a wiring diagram

It is not the seat belt buzzer. However....... It is the connector for the seat belt warning buzzer. So think twice about plugging it back in. Look at C-419 on this diagram.

I agree. However, mine is plugged in. I like hearing the lost forgotten sound of a real buzzer, rather than the chimes cars have had for the past 25+ years.

I think this connector catalog will be quite useful, thank you.
